becks was, presumably, called into british PM resident for the first time in history to be bestowed as world cup 2018 ambassador. england have yet to win anything since WC 66 and hopefully playing as host england could at least, be in the semi final. im only concern with becks future in england rather than thinking his country chances to become a host for WC 2018. currently, hes training with arsenal and doing really good. those haters are only concern with his 100th cap but im sure becks can only think of helping his country goin through the next WC. he may be 32 but like terry venables has said, he has yet to give his best. many talented players emerging from nowhere and threathing his position. he knows it well more than we do. he doesnt need to worry though, as long as he performs well there will always be a place for him in the squad. capello is someone who doesnt only think about how well a player performs on the field but off the field as well. discipline is essential and no players are above the law. england next match will be on feb 6th 08 against EURO 08 host, switzerland. it will be held in the wembley stadium for the first time in the year of 2008. hopefully, a new year will bring something good for becks and his family.
