i read an article from telegraph.co.uk and amazed by the fact that there was misunderstanding between capello and becks during their spell at real madrid. capello agrees to exclude becks, under ramon calderons order, from both training and matches after he signs a contract with LA Galaxy. thinking he wont be able to focus on his current duty with the spanish giant after his current contract runs out. both of them are wrong and capello gratefully admits that he has made a terrible decision to leave out a dedicated player for some dubious reasons. becks is included and as other people would say, the rest is history. i was even shocked after reading comments from previous readers. out of 5, there was one person who thinks becks is ronaldinho. he has never been able to run past defenders like lionel messi does simply bcoz he doesnt have pace. he, however, posseses something that messi doesnt have, an inch pass to his teammates on the field. he can make a difference by crossing his famous passing and contribute to a goal like he did when he was with real madrid. he is too, a very dedicated player and compared to his teammates in england, he is by far the most influential player on and off the field. lets hope becks and capello will bring england somewhere instead of nowhere. im goin to post good and bad comment(s) from the readers...here it goes:

Lets hope its just for this one match then otherwise we have ourselves a manager withut a vision for our future. The one thing that did impress me about Capello was how he had no hesitation in dragging the failing and collapsing Beckham off the field when he was bottling that defining madrid match in the way weve become so accustomed to him doing with england. For that match, read englands last 3 quarter-finals or indeed any mtch v a top rate nation where Beckham has always shown himself to be completely out of his depth. The only "quality" hes ever produced is when up against non-professional standard defences who give him time and space.Whenever hes had to go up against a proper team and their quality defencders ala portugal, ala brazil, ala sweden, ala turkey, ala argentina, ala germany, ala france, etc etc etc, hhes been comprehensively found out as the vilently limited and easily containbale nomad he is on the highest stage.

Dearest mistaken Robbie - Your knowledge of David Beckham and the game of football is about as good as your spelling. Please stick to your day job. Beckham's contribution to Real Madrid's league success last year was handsomely acknowledged by Capello, the Spanish fans and the many opponents he left trailing in his wake as they surged to victory. When did you last see him on the pitch? Never I would think. Beckham's strength of character on the field of play and his leadership qualities both on an off it get no mention as you dish out the dirt without thinking. Thank goodness you're not a selector.

England without David Beckham? He inspires the team, something Terry, Lampard and Gerard cannot do and have never done. Shrewdly, wisely, Capello knows this.
